glowOut()  method
public function glowOut(_rect:Object, _duration:int, _glowColor:uint=0xFFFF10, _glowX:int=30, _glowY:int=30):void

This function sets most parameters for glowing out.

Parameters

  • _rect:Object ____ Specifies the object to glow.
  • _duration:int ____ specifies the duration of glowing out.
  • _glowColor:uint=0xFFFF10 ____ specifies the glow color. Default is 0xFFFF10.
  • _glowX:int=30 ____ specifies the blur in x direction. Default is 30.
  • _glowY:int=30 ____ specifies the blur in y direction. Default is 30.

Examples
Create a new fla file and name it GlowAnimationout.fla. Place the fla in the same folder as the biz folder. Put a MovieClip (myClip) on the stage. Then create an Actionscript file, name it Glowanimationout.as and place this script.
