Flash 9 (ActionScript 3) DateChooser component version 1.1.1 (11-20-2008)

There is no DateChooser component available in ActionScript 3. This is a compiled clip similar to a component with functionality of a DateChooser component. This new version has leapyear adjustment included. In this version the day of the month is now shown and not the day of the week as in previous versions.

  • Shows the current date, month and year,
  • allows selection of any date by pressing on the date,
  • change of the selected month,
  • retrieving the selected day,
  • retrieving the selected month/year.

Instructions to install:

Click on the .mxp file and allow installing the component. The biz files need to be always in the same folder as the fla file when a movie with the component is created. For details for the component see the properties and methods sheet.
